Our Staff

Melissa grew up in Cheddar, South Carolina, not far from Powdersville. After graduating from Palmetto High School, she earned a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Lander University. She earned her certification as a Ministry Assistant in March of 2005.

Melissa has been a member of Mount Moriah since 2001 and has served as the Ministry Assistant since 2005. She and her husband Tommy have 2 children, Drew and Anna.

Amy Burke is our new Children's Ministry leader.  She graduated from Clemson with a degree in Speech and Communication Studies (B.A.) and has a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

She is the wife of Chris and the mama of Wyatt, Silas, Clara and Jasper. 

Amy loves coffee, audiobooks and finding teachable moments to point children to God’s grace.

Jeff Woods became Mount Moriah's Senior Pastor in June, 2017.
